Suspension of adult play

Please note that, following this morning's updated guidance from Table Tennis England, your Committee is suspending all adult play with immediate effect. This includes Over 50s Club, Weds afternoon club, Sun , Tues and Weds nights.

Your club is in Erewash which is currently tier 2, therefore under the government and TTE guidance, it can still continue to operate for the junior section
and Junior Coaching will still continue with the restrictions that we have in place.

We are hopeful that this situation for the adults does not continue for too long and as soon as we see a change back down to Tier 1 we can update
everyone on how the club will be able to proceed.

TTE Announcement

Tier 2 - high
Under-18s and individuals with a disability can continue to play in bubbles of up to 15 players (please see below for further guidance on bubbles)
Coaches from a tier 2 or 3 areas can continue to run sessions for U18 players and/or individuals with a disability
Over-18s from a tier 2 area must only take part in indoor sport with someone from their own household or support bubble
Clubs can continue to operate for U18s or individuals with a disability in bubbles of up to 15 players and for adults when playing with someone from their own household or support bubble
Local leagues should not take place in tier 2 areas at this time
Bars and restaurants, including any food or drink facilities inside a clubhouse/leisure facility, can open in accordance with the latest government guidance. The hospitality areas selling food and drink (such as cafes and bars) must close between 10pm and 5am. The wider sports facility is not subject to the 10pm-5am closure restrictions
No local competitions or 1* events should take place in a tier 2 area. Players from tier 2 areas should not enter a competition in a tier 1 area
