Cheltenham Table Tennis Club are following the UK Government and Table Tennis England COVID-19 safety guidelines,
Measures will be in place to ensure the safety of members and staff. See below to find out more about what we are doing to provide a safe environment for you to play table tennis and how you can play your part.
COVID safety measures
31st December 2020:
Cheltenham is currently in TIer 4. This means that indoor Club table tennis is not permitted for either seniors or juniors. Regrettably we shall not be able to re-open on 5th January as planned. We continue to follow Government and TTE guidelines and will update the website and members on any changes as they arise.
CTTC has conducted a risk assessment of the YMCA facilities and implemented a revised Code of Conduct for players to comply with YMCA and Table Tennis England guidelines for resuming play. Additional cleaning and social distancing will be enforced. These measures will continue to be reviewed and updated in line with current guidance.
We shall start by using 9 tables and require players to book a 60-minute session via our on-line booking platform. There will be a 15minute break between sessions to allow for cleaning of tables and to maintain social distancing.
Face masks must be worn at all times at YMCA , when not playing table tennis in the sports hall.
Please bear with us as requirements and restrictions change. We are happy to receive feedback from players and may be able to adapt the process as we move forwards.
